About us
Established in 2014, NTUC U SME is a Labour Movement initiative set up to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) tackle critical business issues and challenges. By working with SME business leaders and their HR Practitioners, U SME aims to provide business advisory support in the following areas:
- Attraction and Retention of Talent through placement programs
- Compliance and Legislations to ensure businesses are kept to date on latest guidelines
- Business Grants to support hiring and productivity
- Dispute Management for basic workplace disputes
Through NTUC’s network of affiliated unions and associations as well as tripartite partners with a range of services and resources, we aim to help SMEs achieve the following:
- Workplace Protection for the interests of SME employees
- Progression opportunities for SME employees to develop new skill sets through Training and Development
- Placement programmes recruit to new talent
- Privileges to offer competitive staff welfare benefits
Besides providing advisory services tailoredto each SME, the U SME network includes a variety of initiatives and programs to further support business needs.
